Mozambique: the People

Just a few photos of the people we met!  Without exception, all of the Mozambicans we talked to were warm, friendly, kind, and generous…  One of my favorite exchanges was with three kids in the little town of Catandica.  We spent the night there on the way home and were having dinner on the porch of our little hotel.  These three children came by to entertain us and we managed to converse in a mixture of English, Portuguese, and Chichewa.  We bonded over counting (in English) as 35 massive UN tractor trailer trucks passed through the main road.
